This trip to Japan will be my first time to travel outside the U.S. To experience a different culture and immerse myself in a different way of thinking will be an experience that I will never forget. My overall goal for the trip is to be able to communicate on all levels -- with the people of Japan, with the people in the abroad group, and definitely with the society. Communication has a lot to do with understanding, and I want to understand Japan.
