My personal goals for your Mongolia Abroad experience: Some people probably have preconceptions about why I am going on the Mongolia Abroad.  They probably think that I will be going to have a great time with an amazing group of spiritual adventurers.  They might think I want to experience the Mongolian culture by living in gers, shooting flaming arrows, riding Bactrian camels, and talking to the wonderful people.  Some could possibly think that I am excited about climbing the Great Wall of China, scouring the sand dunes of the Gobi on four-by-fours, hiking up the glacial Altai peaks, or wandering through the Forbidden City.  If you really want to go out on a limb, I might just be going to learn more about myself by growing academically, culturally, and spiritually.  Well, that’s all well and good, but of course, there’s only one real reason I could ever want to go to Mongolia….. I get to drink yak milk!
