On-location sketching, perspective, composition, and color theory in painting and drawing are all a part of this course in studio art.  Pen, graphite and colored pencils, and tempera paints are the tools.  Students will learn to demonstrate creative visual arts strategies in their own work and analyze the work of others.

The student produces work almost every day. Growth in understanding of the elements of art is very carefully considered.   Ability to draw is not required!

Every class is required. The lab is three hours for the purpose of doing and learning the concepts. Only take this course if you are committed to attending class.
