CSCI 276:  Object-Oriented Programming

Prerequisites:  CSC182


 

Materials and skills covered:

Object-oriented design, expressivity and function in C++ or C#, and the Unix/Linux operating system.

 

Methods used:

Students will read material from local and remote web sites. They will design and implement object-oriented systems. They will exercise Unix/Linux commands and create scripts in perl and related languages. Class days include lecture, demonstration, group meetings, etc.

 

Grade determined by:

Much of the grade is based on programming projects. The rest is from quizzes and exams and a bit from class support and homework.

 

Attendance policy:

Absences (or late arrivals) beyond three reduce the grade.
