and skills covered:
This course will develop
writing and reading analytical skills. It
will also strengthen other language skills at the intermediate-advanced level:
speaking and comprehension.
Methods used:
In this course, we will have
short written assignments, longer compositions, text analysis and a term
paper. We will analyze short texts,
review some aspects of grammar and work on developing a better style. The class will be conducted in French.
Grade determined by:
Midterm and final exams: 40%
Class participation and
written assignments: 40%
Final term paper: 20 %
Attendance
policy:
Absences will lower the
final grade. Tardies will be penalized.
