Academic & Career Advising

A freshman academic advisor will work with you during your first year (or until you declare your major) to discuss your goals, explore possible majors, and plan a complete College experience. Each quarter, the advisor helps you select courses and plan for the activities you want to participate in. During your four years at the College, you will complete 180 quarter hours (QH) of coursework. Your FYE courses will total from 10 to 15 quarter hours and are included as part of your all-college requirements.

Your advisor or a staff member from Academic & Career Advising will work with you to build an individual educational plan. This plan covers coursework needed to complete your graduation requirements, your major(s), minor(s), abroads, internships, athletics, summer courses—every part of your College experience.
