The Dean's Scholarship is a four-year scholarship valued at 1/4 of tuition each year, awarded to both first-time freshmen and transfer students. To apply, first-time freshmen must have a cumulative high school grade point average of at least 3.6 in solid academic courses. Applicants must also have earned a cumulative SAT score of at least 1200 or a composite ACT score of 27. Qualifying scores will not include the score earned on the new writing test.

Transfer students must have earned at least a 3.5 cumulative college GPA from any or all colleges attended. The high school GPA and test scores are not considered for transfers who apply for a merit scholarship. This scholarship is renewable each year for recipients who maintain a GPA of at least 3.3 at Principia.
