Women Working in China

Abstract

Women in China have often been characterized as extremely hardworking, more often so than their male counterparts. They are found in labor intensive jobs such as textile manufacturing. Slowly, women are beginning to enter into financial positions. The other alternative of working for male supervisors is for women to become entrepreneurs, which is becoming more prevalent.
