This man in his deel (pronounced dell) are on Suhbaatar Square right downtown. The deel is made of a worsted wool just like a man's suit. It goes down to mid calf and is worn with boots that are up to the knee. The sashes are traditionally in orange or a bright lime green. Deels are seen frequently in the city, though not as much with the "under 30" crowd, and are still the preferred form of attire in countryside.
