Campus Computing: From Free Speech to FaceBook
In 1998, attorney C.L. Lindsay III left his practice in New York City to found the Coalition for Student & Academic Rights (CO-STAR). Since then, acting as its executive director, he has built CO-STAR into a national student rights organization that helps thousands of college students with their legal problems each year, free of charge.  Lindsay has been interviewed in national media including NPR and The Christian Science Monitor.  Among other topics in his talk, he will cover how Facebook and MySpace pages can come back to haunt students through missed employment opportunities, vulnerability to on-line predators, and disciplinary action for posting compromising information. Lindsay has delivered this critical information on over a hundred college campuses in recent years. He is a riveting and entertaining speaker.
