Did you know?
Until 1998, Rackham housed had two distinct men's houses, Rackham West and Rackham East.

Say two residents:
"As the school year progresses, I feel the Rackham community becoming more and more of a family to me. It's wonderful to have this group of supportive, loving people surrounding me every day. I am so grateful to be here!"   "
— Sarah Passemar ('08)

"Rackham has the perfect balance between the feeling of an elegant English mansion and a warm home-like atmosphere. I’ve spent many nights doing my homework in the living room—right next to a blazing fire in the massive fireplace. When the homework is complete I often head downstairs to the rec-room. There I am able to relax with friends and watch a movie on the big screen TV, play pool, or cook up something tasty in the kitchen.

"This sharing, all-inclusive atmosphere is the social normalcy in Rackham house. It’s a place where men and women can have their privacy, and at the same time have the opportunity to make close friendships that will stay with them through college and for the rest of their lives.""
— Cory Miller, Resident Assistant ('06)
