I'm a junior at Principia, majoring in music and mass communication. To enhance my Spanish minor, I decided to venture to Venezuela. I chose this abroad because of the unique culture of Venezuela as a Caribbean nation as well as a Latin American country. I hope to gain a better understanding of the Hispanic people, especially the indigenous tribes, while improving my proficiency in Spanish conversation. My special focus topic will include a study in Venezuelan music.
