What an incredible way to finish my Spanish major. I'm a senior, majoring in Spanish and education (primary). I have had very positive experiences speaking with Venezuelans. When I ask a question, it is always answered with a gracious smile and additional information. During one taxi ride, the driver took the time to point out buildings and explain their historical significance. It has been so exciting to use my Spanish because people have been so welcoming and generous in sharing their language. I can't wait to see more of Venezuela and meet our host families! It will be an important experience.
