Linda Bohaker joined Principia's faculty in 1996. Prior to teaching, she had a variety of experiences focusing on her two main interests — international business and Japanese history and culture. Her prior experience includes obtaining two master's degrees, one in international business and one in Japanese history, studying the Japanese language and culture in Japan for 21 months as a Rotary International Scholar, and working as the manager of human resources for a Japanese company in New York City for six years. While at Principia, Ms. Bohaker has directed several abroad programs to Japan where students have studied the country's culture, history, language and business. She enjoys sharing with students her enthusiasm for and knowledge of Japan, and teaches Japanese history and language courses in addition to courses in business administration.
