Tom Davidson joined the Principia faculty in January 2001. Tom began his working career at the Federal Trade Commission in Washington, D.C., doing economic research in support of federal antitrust cases. After obtaining an M.B.A. degree, Tom entered the private sector where, over a nine-year period, he held senior marketing positions with several companies engaged in the business-to-business marketplace. In the mid-1990s Tom started up and managed a printing business for several years. His most recent position prior to joining Principia was in business development for a major company in the construction materials industry. His activities focused on the identification and evaluation of new business opportunities, including internally developed businesses, potential partnerships, and acquisitions.
