Ken Johnson had 32 years of computer industry experience when he joined Principia's faculty in 2002.

In 28 years at IBM, he played key technical and executive roles in developing some of that company's mainstream products. He was a developer of CICS/MVS for the IBM S/370, director of development for the AS/400, and director of development for the IBM Network Station.

He retired from IBM to become the senior consultant at Andrews Consulting Group, where he assisted software companies with their development and quality practices, and performed technical due diligence engagements for venture capitalists. His clients included IBM and Microsoft as well as a number of smaller companies.

Ken is co-author of a book on management information systems, Revolutionizing IT: The Art of Using Information Technology Effectively (John Wiley & Sons, 2002).

Ken and his wife Adria met at Principia College as students and reside in Elsah.
