Libby Scheiern joined the faculty in 1999. Prior to coming to Principia College Libby founded and served as head of a private school in California. Libby has served as The Principia College Education Department Chair for more than five years and serves on various all campus committees. She is also an experienced educational consultant and has worked with adults, children, and teachers. Libby's diverse background and experience includes 25 years of teaching, curriculum development, and administration. She received her master's degree in psychology from Pepperdine University. Libby is currently completing her doctoral work at the University of Illinois, Chicago in Curriculum, Instruction, and Evaluation.
