The John Jamerson Stadium and Jack Eyerly Track were officially dedicated on October 1 before the Upper School Panther football team took on MICDS during the 2005 Alumni Reunion. John Jamerson (US'71) served Principia on the Alumni Board and the Board of Trustees. His brother, Bruce (US'69) told the assembled Panther fans that "after his family, John's great love was Principia. John was and is the embodiment of the whole man." Long-time Upper School dean and track coach Bill Simon (US'54) then told the audience about his friend Jack Eyerly - Upper School dean, track coach, and teacher from the '50s to the '80s. He expressed that through Jack Eyerly's "clear sense of moral values and his quiet friendship with students and faculty.....he helped students to lift their lives and levels of thought."
