a proposed list of the ten greatest architects in America. They
include Frank Lloyd Wright, Louis Sullivan, H.H. Richardson, Louis
Kahn, Thomas Jefferson, Eero Saarinen, Ludwig Mies van der Rohe,
I. M. Pei, Bernard Maybeck, and Frank Furness.

Principia College designated a National Historic Landmark by the
United States Department of Interior. October 11, official ceremony
on the Chapel Green honoring Maybeck's campus as a National Historic
Landmark. Guests include The Honorable Richard J. Durbin, United
States House of Representatives, and Carolyn Pitts, Architectural
Historian, National Parks Service, History Division.
