Co-Executive Director

Ebikiri Aboro, a senior from Nigeria, is a Computer Science major. He is one of the Co-Executive Director of this year's Pan-African Conference. Ever since he left his home country to come study in the United States, Ebikiri has developed a very strong and infectious love for his beautiful country and continent. He is really concerned about the future of the African continent, and believes that the Pan-African Conference is an avenue to better understand the issues and challenges facing Africa, and how these issues can be effectively tackled.


Cory Sprague

Cory Sprague

Co-Executive Director

Cory Sprague, a senior from San Diego, California, is a double major in Political Science and Sociology & Anthropology. She is Co-Executive Director of this year's Pan-African Conference. The Pan-African Conference, will not only prepare Cory for a career in international relations, but it will also make her a more compassionate world citizen. She believes the Pan-African Conference is a wonderful opportunity to build bridges of trust and understanding between Africans and Americans. Let us not forget the timely words of Martin Luther King Jr., "Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter."


Adeleen Brown

Adeleen Brown is in her third year at Principia College, majoring in French and Sociology. She is a Franco-American, who wants to broaden her perspectives on affairs of the African continent. By hearing and discussing with the speakers, she hopes to learn to analyze the issues surrounding this conference’s topic and others that will come up throughout the conference.


Mary Coker-Pimpong

Mary Coker-Pimpong, a senior from Ghana, is a business administration major who is willing to help the cause of Pan African Conference the best way she knows how. She believes every little step in the right direction is important, and it takes such little drops of water to make the ocean of peace, love and unity that the world needs. She believe students like herself can help make the world a better place, and by being part of the board of the Pan-African Conference, she is doing her part in contributing to a better world.


Emily Kabura

Director of Roundtable Discussions

Emily is an international student from Kenya who is a sophomore in Principia College. She is an economics major with a business minor. She plans on being a financial advisor in the future. She has a passion for the African continent because she believes it is such a beautiful and productive place and deserves nothing but the best. This year’s conference is very important to her because she feels that Africa’s development is at stake because not unless it is sustainable it cannot benefit the future children of Africa. She is looking forward to it because this is one of the ways that we can ensure a sustainable development; by enlightening the world.


Laurier Nsekukila

Laurier Nsekukila

Director of Off-Campus Delegates

Laurier Nsekukila is a junior from the Democratic Republic of the Congo majoring in Computer Science and Mathematics. In 1998, a 9-year old street boy who lost his parents during the civil war in Kinshasa asked him why he could not live like any other kid and how would his future be since he always depend on others. Very sad because he did not have any answer for the kid, he had to tell him, "no one will provide a prosperous future for you. You are your own future and do not wait long to take your destiny in your own hands. You should be able to see at least 10 years in advance". Since, Laurier decided to contribute effectively to questions, forums, and conferences on the development of his continent and particularly his country. "Neither time, nor simple hope will lead us to a sustainable development OF Africa but an unconditional love for it and its inhabitants".


Stacey Bird

Director of On-Campus Delegates and Advertising

Stacey Bird is in her second year at Principia College and is thinking of majoring in Sociology and Economics. She was born in the U.S. but moved to Japan when she was six years old and has lived in Yokohama, Japan for twelve years. This is her first time to be on the board for Pan African Conference but is very excited to be apart of it. She wishes to be a part of this great event to help out but to also to deepen her knowledge about the pressing issues in Africa today. She hopes that she can widen her view by hearing from the speakers and listening to people contributing at the discussions.


Victoria Brown Wilson

Director of Logistics

Victoria Brown-Wilson is a sophomore with citizenship in both Mexico and the United States, currently residing in Texas. She has declared a double major in Music and Education and hopes to add Foreign Languages to the mix. She joined the board of the Pan African Conference because she believes in a global community and understands the importance of having an awareness of and appreciation for the challanges faced and the innovations developed by countries that are a prominant part of this global community. She is enthusiastic and excited about this year's conference and hopes that everyone is inspired by attending!

It is a great joy to be working with students who are committed to create an inspiring and thought provoking Pan African Conference. As citizens of the world we have an obligation to learn about the critical issues that are facing the people of the African Diaspora. This Pan African Conference aims at encouraging the participants to become active advocates for positive change.
