We provide free lifetime email forwarding for students, alumni, and friends of Principia. (See below for more information about how this works.) Once you complete the simple sign-up process, your PrinMail address will automatically be listed in an online directory for your friends and relatives to find when they search for it.

Before you create your PrinMail address, you need to read and agree to the PrinMail User Agreement. Please do not proceed any further until you have clicked the PrinMail User Agreement link above and have read the agreement. If you have any questions about the fine print, we'd be happy to answer them for you. Call 1-800-277-4648, extension 2868, or email the Alumni Office.

Now, please select a username for your PrinMail account and type it in the box below. (Note: any upper-case letters will be converted to lower-case.) After you click the button under the box and agree to the terms of the User Agreement, we will search the database to see if that username is available. If it is, just fill out the short form that appears, enabling us to properly identify you.

How does PrinMail work?

The "username@principia.edu" you register will be a forwarding address, whether you choose to use it or your "real" email address as your "reply-to" address. All mail coming in to your PrinMail address is immediately forwarded to your current real email address. If — in addition to email from friends and relatives who find you through the PrinMail directory — you choose to use your PrinMail address as an alias "reply-to" address for your real email address, your email can always go to your principia.edu address and follow you around to wherever you tell us your real email account is — whenever and as often as you change providers.
