As a follow-up to last week’s announcement, we would like to address the impact of Stuart Jenkins' resignation as Chief Executive Officer of Principia on the exploration of land development options for the St. Louis campus. Although Stuart took the lead on this project, he did so at the direction of the Board of Trustees. Stuart's resignation does not change our interest in properly considering the opportunity to determine if there is a use for the land that benefits both The Principia School and the Town and Country community.
Stuart will continue to be in charge of this exploratory process until different arrangements can be made, and the Trustees will receive a report on the progress of this endeavor at our November meeting. Meanwhile, Stuart and David Anable, interim Chief Executive, will work out the best way to manage the project during this time of transition. David arrives in the office on Thursday to begin this process.
Stuart and Tracy will continue living in the CEO’s house until their next steps unfold. Please help us support Principia during this period of transition.
