SWIMMING POOL
The swimming pool measures 50 meters in length by 25 yards in width. The racing course
will be set up running 25 yards (side to side) in depth ranging from 7'0 (starting end) to
10'6" (turning end). Turning surfaces are a fiberglass bulkhead and ceramic tile,
except for the top ten inches, which are stainless steel.
DIVING BOARDS
The four diving boards are located at the west end of the pool (to the west of the
swimming course). Sufficient space exists between the two areas, thus allowing flexible
diving practice time, except during swim competition. The two 1-meter boards and two
3-meter boards lay abreast cement platforms. Durafirm bases are used between these
platforms and the four Maxiflex Model B boards. Depth of water is 14' at plummet.
SPORTS MEDICINE
The training room will be set up on the pool deck at the far end natatorium by the warm
down pool. The area will be staffed with a certified athletic trainer during all sessions.
The area will be equipped with tables, ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and ice. Any
student athlete needing treatments should have a script from their team physician or
athletic trainer explaining specifics of the treatment. We will not be able to treat any
athletes with ultrasound or electrical stimulation without scripts for these modalities.
TIMING SYSTEM
Automatic timing and judging will be run by Colorado 5000 Timing System’s Meet Tech
support which allows for 8-lane read-outs at each 50 and displays final place and time for
all lanes.
LOCKERS
Locker rooms on the lower level of the Rec-Plex will be available for use. Please bring
your own lock; locks must be removed at the end of each session. Swimmers and divers must
also provide their own personal towels. Locker rooms have limited locker availability so
we ask that any use of lockers be used on a per session basis.

VALUABLES
Principia College, St. Peters Rec-Plex, and the NCAA Meet Committee assume no
responsibility for loss of personal articles. Each competitor and coach will be
responsible for their own property.
TEAM SEATING AND BANNERS
Team seating will be selected at the Coaches Meeting (Wednesday, 3 p.m.) Team banners may
be placed on the pre-set wire on the north wall. Team banners must be appropriate in size.
ADMISSION - PARTICIPATING COACHES AND ATHLETES
Participating coaches, athletes and other team representatives will be admitted to the
pool by a special pass. This pass must be purchased when submitting the official entry
form or at the registration table. All passes will be supplied in the coaches packets.
AWARDS CEREMONY
Information regarding award ceremonies will be presented in the coaches registration
packets and will be available at the mandatory Wednesday coaches meeting.
